Solomon lodge is an alternative to hotels / b&b´s Teferi Kela. Our lodge offers the possobility to have an entire apartment w/ garden for yourself, So if you wish you can truly relax in the lodge, or adventure in the neverending wildlife. However if you are more a flower person, our blooming garden is just for you while you stay.

The lodge was started by Solomon Abate and is located in Teferi Kela.
Whilst offering you Ethiopian culture at its finest, Pillar of hope has given orphans a chance to catch up in school and have a secure home for eight years. These children are now starting to contribute back and becoming self-sustainable.
Social work
For the last eight years Pillar of Hope trough Solomon Abate and the Norwegian NGO Make Possible has trained orphans to catch up, trough feeding and extra schooling. These children are now growing up and starting to contribute back. As you read, they are creating a coffee plot, which will give income and make it possible to help their own.
Solomon Abate
Solomon has been working alongside orgnaisations such as MAP (makepossible) to raise and provide for homless orphans or needing children in the nearby society, both to give them a bright future, but also to make them self-sustainable. Alongside this work he now rents his lodge for additional income towards these children.
